Were we all thrown down from Heaven?
Were we all Angels in the beginning?
Sent into this human form as a punishment
Sent to pay a penance
Is that how we came to be,
One of Heavens outcasts
Angels that wouldn’t conform
Angels that wanted to be free,
And so we were shut out
Left in the cold, left to grow old
Eventually to disappear from this place
Left to roam in obscurity, to die in disgrace
Is that why this world was created
To be the Home of the Banished
Is that what this place is for?
