Tony Robinson Poems

Rainbows, sunsets
Ice cream trees
Honey suckle fences
Scented by the breeze
...

God you’re so boring,
Don’t you have anything to say 4 yourself?
You quote the bible as though every word is true
Like lambs to the slaughter who don’t know what to do.
...

I’m all alone
With my down trodden soul
There is no light to be seen
Just the tiniest glow,
...

In a world of lies you are my truth
I need you here by my side
To hold my hand to be my guide,
You are my sun
...

Freedom begins within your mind
It’s when you stop thinking you become blind
The world is yours to be explored
Don’t use excuses about being poor
...

In a world without love, where would we be?
Just empty bodies that know how to bleed
The future of life that begins with a seed
Is tarnished by our faults, erased by our greed
...

Suffocating inside this silent hell
Oppression rings out its torturous bell
Lost inside so long ago
It no longer matters who I am
...

Said goodbye to innocence one October day
The rainclouds opened up and washed it away
It slipped through my fingers, it didn’t stand a chance
The stars shone their appreciation while the galaxy laughed,
...

I’ve seen the face of death a thousand times
I’ve been up close I’ve felt its breath
I’ve danced with the devil enough to know
That nowhere inside it is there a soul
...

I listen to your lullaby sung with the devils tongue
Your true nature is shining through
How different from me are you,
Crippled by desire
...

I warm my hand above the flame
Your spirit is a monster I must tame
I give my heart on an open sleeve
Rejection is the burden I carry too deep
...

How different are you and me?
How much the same do we want to be?
How much in tune with each other is really healthy?
How much individuality do we need to be free?
...

Were we all thrown down from Heaven?
Were we all Angels in the beginning?
Sent into this human form as a punishment
Sent to pay a penance
...

The rain beats down upon my face
Tear drops mingled with rain
Everything is blurry now, nothing quite the same
The clouds cry their lonely tears because that is what they do
...

Say goodbye to those sunset kisses
The winter has set in.
Everything is blurry now
I can’t hear my heart above the din
...

The Best Poem Of Tony Robinson

All Come Together.

Rainbows, sunsets
Ice cream trees
Honey suckle fences
Scented by the breeze
Seas of passion
That seed new life
Clouds above fluffy and white
The clash of the titans when thunder strikes,
Tears of fire fall from the sky
That rest on angels wings
As they take us higher.
The sun sets around mid day
Leaving us in a purple haze
Diamond stars appear at first light
Dancing like ballerinas for our delight
Multi coloured skies that change by the hour
That cry tears of butterflies that never taste sour
Dappled light that shadows make
Like devils fighting over our souls to forsake
Branches dance in the dance of life
Whilst autumn leaves rustle and laugh
Who all come together like children around the Christmas hearth.
