Home Again Poem by Bernice Shipman

Home Again

My little one, was a woman Lord when you took her by her hand.
You said dear child come with me and let us stand.
I know you don't want to leave your husband, family and friends.
But it's time for you to come home and be whole again.
When your family comes home to stand by your side then you can run and greet them.
And shout Lord here we are all togeather and home again.
I believed you Lord and here we are to stay
