I sift through memories and dreams
Searching for something I know that I've seen
Completely unsure of what I will find
But not at all scared to leave what I know behind
Absolutely unsettled, awake or asleep
Until I hear the sound of your heartbeat
Head pressed on your chest I am able to rest
And I realise
I am Home
So I've moved around, lived in a few towns
Undecided and never content
In my heart there's a place that I've seemed to misplace
But I don't know if I've even been there yet
Always rearranging and forever changing
is what I seem to do best
Then your arms wrap around and I know I've been found
And I'm sure that
I am home.
