Hollow Soul Poem by Dipo Tembo

Hollow Soul

Rating: 5.0

I await my fate,
unwillingly i shall pay my debt.
this earth did credit my sore,
and now this wound heals not any more.
Is this oh soul, Our great fall?

Dusk rise and dawns that set,
we too shall part like bone and flesh.
we've seen it rain, we've seen it snow,
and yet tomorrow comes and we know not more.

My life was sure;
my life azure, yes
now like the sky, seen; but in it to see nothing.

Now my cause masons curve,
on impermeable mable what a curse.
so i lay sleepless in this endless night,
this dark silence that giveth fright,
where thy stars die with fading light,
reveiling my ever falling might,
leaving me a hollow soul.
