History will Reveal
SHAKIL AHMED.
History will reveal
How cruel the world has been
Since the time of its birth
Adam, the first man, on this lovely planet
Couldn't understand and perceive
That his son's would turn out
As butchers and would gloat
Walking on the waves of human blood.

Here morning begins with a new preparation
To kill more and more people
Our noble qualities have disappeared
Like the fragrance of plucked flowers.
Look at the blood that is split
On the land of this lovely planet
People are embracing the nature of
Wild and violent beasts
No one knows the answer
How much blood we need
To quench our thirst.

We must know the art of living
Happily and peacefully
Tolerating each other.
We must allow our guns
To be rusted eternally
We must open our heart
To embrace people without considering
Cast, creed and colour.
We must clear our sky for the pigeons
To fly and wander from horizon to horizon
Signaling the message of peace and love.
