Hiding The Truth Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Hiding The Truth

Rating: 5.0

When you're clouded in grief,
And the memories flow,
You try to keep smiling,
And don't want to show,
That you're burning inside,
And there's no place to run,
You're missing your loved one,
Like the glow of the sun,
You try to keep going,
But it's such a hard task,
You put on a smile,
But it's just a mask,
That's hiding the sorrow,
The pain deep inside,
Wishing your loved one,
To be there by your side.
