Hidden Language Poem by Thomas Foreman

Hidden Language

Rating: 5.0

Beneath your frozen mind, to the currents that flow.
No more are thoughts as stilled and hidden,
Even underneath your boundary set below this dark sky,
Void of emotion, shaded in gray,
You sit comforted, undisclosed.
Even when the heart drums alone, somewhere…
Another beats in code, heard by one,
that calls to another.

Your heart beats alone, no more within.
I hear your hidden language, that love in your voice.
I found your secrets, encoded on the blush of your skin
No longer suffered in meaning,
Nor will it sprint away, unknown of choice.

Therein this world, beneath sutured skies and puzzled passion
No more concealed, by the slightest of gaze
Warm, even to the coldest of thought.
The secret is to be unique,
So that you and I are never turned away,
Nor shall we part.
