A Modern Talking Bird

A modern talking bird
Is Bri Edwards,
How much he talks! And is too hot! !
But these traits will help him to write
Some big books
With his wife,

I am sure
About everybody will wonder
For these will be so super
In words, similes, imageries, metaphors
In meaning, rhyming and verses
And I will be one of these buyers.

You call these heroic couplets, but they are nothing of the kind! Why do you do this? And why does this site permit this? ? ?

And these modern open ones any time may be turned into iambic meter, thanks

OLD: Of these the false Achitophel was first: A name to all succeeding ages cursed; For close designs and wicked counsels fit; Sagacious, bold, and turbulent of wit; Restless, unfixed in principles and place; In power unpleased, impatient of disgrace.

These two heroic couplets are in modern open / free style and not in old iambic meter

upon reading, on 4-5-18, your message to me, dated 4-2, i have discovered this poem never went to MyPoemList; i shall have to correct that lack of 'being done'! ! (continued) ..
