Here With You Poem by Margaret Shaw

Here With You

Love is like a song,
It never ends,
It never loses tone,
We can feel it all around us,
And we know,
We are here.

I am here in your arms,
And it feels like a dream,
I can't explain the feeling,
As it's washing over me,
I can feel it in my heart,
I can feel it in my soul,
It takes away my breath,
And I know...

We are here together now,
Things won't ever be the same,
I can see it in your eyes,
You know,
That what we feel is love.

It like a wind blowing here,
Yet it calms all my fears,
With it's arms reaching round me,
And it wipes away my tears,
My heart begins to race,
My mind beings to soar,
You whisper, 'I love you
Evermore'.

We are here together now,
Things won't ever be the same,
I can see it in your eyes,
You know,
That what we feel is love.

Can you hear it?
Can you hear our hearts racing?
Can you feel it?
Can you feel the earth turning as our love begins to bloom?

We are here together now,
Things won't ever be the same,
I can see it in your eyes,
You know,
That what we feel is love.
