Her Mirror Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Her Mirror

I have set my heart upon a watch,
Take her for me as my wife;
To the garden of the earth and the sea i do pray,
But to her sad song of love i do respect.
Flowers fro me,
She wept to think;
The mixture of lots of things to dropp down like a bomb,
Life is not easy at times.
Her soul is sad,
To find this gift as a surprise!
Listen to her hot steed like a wearied man.
Of guilt and strife shw wept,
On the blue flowers of her love to share with me;
From my boyhood's hour to learn from many,
Like the beautiful mirror on the wall.
Joy, joy forever!
From her girlhood days to think about;
My task is done but,
I have still set my heart upon a watch.
Flowers for me,
But life is not easy at times;
On her mirror at night,
I do pray and share my memories.
