Her Hijab, Her Pride! (1) Poem by Amusa Sherifdeen Ajani

Her Hijab, Her Pride! (1)

She is a Muslimah
She obeys Allaah
Always in her flowing attire
Fully covered from head to toe
She moves like a Queen Fully clothed
Not like a slave in need of clothes.
.
Every valuable things on earth are covered
Gold is found deep in the ground
The ground serve as its Hijab
She is always moving in her Hijab
She doesn't flaunt her assets
Like a dog on the street
She is worth more than Gold
She is a pearl!
Her Hijab her pride!
.
They claimed she is being oppressed
She dress not to be embarrassed
She values her body a lot
Not flaunting her assets for all
She keeps it for a special one
Who is her husband..
.Her Hijab her pride
The way you dress is the way you will be addressed
If you dress like a slave
You will be addressed like a slave
If you dress like a queen
You will be addressed like a Queen
start dressing like a queen

3 – Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allaah is Ever Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful” [al-Ahzaab 33:59] 4 – Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “O you who believe! Enter not the Prophet’s houses, unless permission is given to you for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation. But when you are invited, enter, and when you have taken your meal, disperse without sitting for a talk. Verily, such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet, and he is shy of (asking) you (to go); but Allaah is not shy of (telling you) the truth. And when you ask (his wives) for anything you want, ask them from behind a screen, that is purer for your hearts and for their hearts. And it is not (right) for you that you should annoy Allaah’s Messenger, nor that you should ever marry his wives after him (his death). Verily, with Allaah that shall be an enormity” [al-Ahzaab 33:53]

Wonderful defense of hijab.....Did holy Qur'an tell anywhere to wear Hijab? Is it not the dress code imposed on women by a Male dominated society? Is it not the question of Ummer Qutab(R) that led to this inequality in culture? Why cannot women be allowed to chose her own dress as men?
