Her Eyes Poem by Callum Witts

Her Eyes

Her eyes, they danced,
Graciously and willingly,
Like the bloom of a flower,
The fall of the rain.

Hey eyes, they cried,
Gently but softly,
Like the freedom she desired,
The sadness the encountered.

Her eyes, they loved,
Powerfully, longingly,
Like the novels she cherished,
The impossible made possible.

Hey eyes, they saw,
Wisely, profoundly,
Like an old mans tale,
Beautifully real.

Hey eyes, her eyes..

A lovely poem. Great tribute to any girl. Read mine - Who Am I - Adeline Just, did you mean to say: Like an old man's tale ?
