Help Me! Poem by Vado Masinovic

My life falls into pieces.
I'm happy one day and the next
I get hurt by a full sentence,
Just by the person I love.
I feel torn,
I can't tell anyone.
What if they think I'm crazy?
I'm afraid to come home everyday
And just get hurt by words my loved ones tell me.
No mom or dad,
Nowhere to support me,
To help me in life,
To make me smile,
And make me feel loved and safe.
But that's only a dream that I wish came true.
I always think about taking my life
And just thinking that just maybe I might be happy
But there's always something getting in the way.
The more I think I have no one,
I actually do.
Everyone stopped me and told me,
It was wrong.
Now I knew people cared,
My actual family.
Right now,
I don't know what I feel anymore.
I try to write everything down,
But nothing seems to help me,
None of them can come out of my mouth.
I cry about these problems,
But I hide it well with
My smile and laugh.
How come no one can see
In how much pain I'm in?
I have a role model,
I have friends,
And my family
That are there for me,
But is it true?
Can I trust them?
Will they listen?
Do they care?
OR
Am I just walking this road by myself?
