Helicopters Poem by Corbin Griffin

Helicopters

i love maple trees.
i used to watch the seeds fly through air until they land.
as a kid i called them helicopters.

people are like maple trees.
we plant roots and then we grow.
we sprout seeds only to watch them fly away to plant roots of their own.

i love maple trees.
i watch the seeds fly through the air until they land.
as an adult i call them helicopters.
