Heaven and Hell Poem by john tiong chunghoo

Heaven and Hell

nature translates
beauty into flowers
butterflies and girls

translates power
pomp and pageantry into
kings, queens and lords

translates adorable
faithfulness and loyalty into
pet dogs and cats

evil into the devil
and the near perfection
into angels

being over
possessive into the
black widow

nature
the stemcell
of creation

spinning dramas from
strains of thoughts
hatred, frust or lust

nature traces every thought
turning them into what
it desires

as it cooks its pot
of heaven
and hell
