You showed up as if heaven sent
And gently held my hand
You stayed by my side
When I broke down and cried
Gave me strength when i didn't think i could stand

You thought to walk my father home
With candles burning bright
Bagpipes crying in the distance
As Harley's rumbled in the night

You made me forget
If just for a bit
The WAY my father died
The friendship you gave him
And the honor you paid him
It filled my heart with pride
