Shattered Dreams Poem by Dolores Parsons

Shattered Dreams

The game of life,
The twists of fate,
The bridges that we burn,

The road less traveled,
Still waters run deep,
We live........
And then we learn!

I once believed in Fairy tales
And Knights in armour bright!
The magic of
'That one true love'
And finding them at first sight!

I truely believed
That the power of love
Could weather any sea!

That nothing could ever
Come between
My true love and me!

(silly child)
