Heaven Is Her Home Poem by Amélie Peace

Heaven Is Her Home

Rating: 5.0

Turn left, turn right, turn all around.
Don't be caught behind you back.
they are looking, searching, hunting.
To find the culprit, that's you.

You did it without knowing,
know you must run and hide.
You don't even know how it slipped,
or how it changed her fate so drastically.

But now you are running wild,
and she is laying in the ground.
You used to love her,
she was you everything, now she is silent and cold.

Confusion rakes you mind,
'I don't want to be caught...or do I? '
'I should serve justice for it was I,
who stole her life away.'

You care for her,
and that is why you must give up,
give in.
So stroll out the door to the crying sirens and await your destiny.

You know its right,
so now you cry, for how you made her hurt.
Let her soul please be at peace,
let her stroll through the gates of pearl.

Please let heaven be her home.

Let happiness rain,
and kindness grow,
all good, live and thrive.
You know that's where she belongs

By your hand she fell to slumber,
but by a kiss from God,
she awakes in the stars,
for heaven is her home.
