Heaven Poem by Brian Archibald

Heaven

Rating: 5.0

Ascending into the promised lands,
how can I comprehend?
Anything I'd give,
to see my fallen loved ones again.
I can run free,
& know that you truly love me.

Carry me away,
into paradise is where I stay.
I've overcame my stay,
I'm looking for a better way.
in your arms,
I fade away.

You are the light,
to my day.
Nothing short of the help,
when I can't die again.
Eternal bliss,
fruitful lands of veils.

Without a hand to hold,
I cannot see.
My anchor to a better place,
my reasoning for being what I am.
Keeping me true,
eternally I love you.

Until the day I see the lands,
where nothing is harmed.
Until the gold,
is sought for no more.
Until my barriers with the once fallen,
are no longer their.
I sit waiting,
for that better day.
