Heat From Communion Poem by Liza Sud

Heat From Communion

The summer is normal. It's almost Gulag.
Perhaps our sins God will write off for that.
I walk down the street wearing winter gloves -
still freezing! At home I sit under a rug.

But sweeter to me is gray sky without sun!
It's like we are hidden in days, in their spark
and overgrown with ice. But in heart
I keep Light and spark of Communion with God!

And I have been always so hot from the Lord.
So, gentlemen, go to the Father more oft!
And then you will glow with heat from within
and melt out of happiness. Hug my verse please!

I want to kiss everyone when I'm with God,
And if without God - I am cold and become
Too evil and angry with anguish inside.
And what about frosts? Like all earthly - will pass!
