To my beloved wife

Today, I stay in our bedroom by myself
Because, after going to town, I have a running nose.
This may be a miserable unwelcome news:
I may have a cold, so better I stay alone.
My wife sleeps in the next bedroom
My hands are too short to reach her, so our bed longs for her.
Loving me, she brings water and serves hot meals
Loving me, she brings medicine and heart-warming smiles.
By midnight, I woke up reaching for her
Suddenly, I recognize that only me in our bed.
By midnight, I miss holding her in love
I miss her fragrance, as much as when I waited to marry her.
Oh! my dear, I love your long flowing hair
I love your glance with your compassionate love.
I love flowers opening in your smiles
I love your sweet eyes and rose petals on your kissing lips.
I love you, my hearty Kim Mai
Holding your pillow at night, I can't wait to hold you.

MẶN MÀ KIM MAI

Thương tặng vợ tôi

Hôm nay tôi ở riêng phòng
Sau khi ra phố, ròng ròng mũi trôi.
Thế này, lại khổ tôi rồi
Sợ rằng bị cảm, phòng tôi một mình.
Vợ tôi ngủ ở phòng bên
Tay không với tới, giường êm nhớ người.
Vợ yêu, nước rót, cơm mời
Vợ yêu, thuốc uống, miệng cười thăm nom.
Nửa đêm thức giấc tìm người
Chợt tôi nhận thức chỉ giường và tôi.
Nửa đêm thèm nhớ yêu người
Thèm hơi như thủơ còn chờ lấy nhau.
Anh yêu mái tóc em dài
Anh yêu ánh mắt em cài tình si.
Anh yêu môi nở hoa cười
Anh yêu mắt ngọt nụ hồng môi trao.
Anh yêu, yêu lắm Mặn Mà
Đêm nằm ôm gối chờ ngày ôm em.
