Heartbreak.
I long to see
What the eyes cannot
Be unto such euphoric surrender
Bliss, wanting to feel
Reaching high for the skies
Desolation and wonder
Wanting to keep
Inside this weary
Dark sanctuary, where
Shadows are friends
And enemies as well
For the blazing sun
Cannot be seen nor
Touched by one’s
Helpless hands tied
By an invisible clutch
An invincible lash
Cannot be broken
For freedom has lost
Its freedom.
