Heartbreak Poem by erica wood

I can’t believe what you did to me,
You said I was the only one you would see.
I gave you all my trust,
Which turned out to be a complete bust.
I still can’t believe I caught you with another girl,
The sight of you and her makes me want to hurl.
I wish you didn’t cheat on me,
But now I must break free.
You left me heartbroken and in tears,
You not caring about my feelings is clear.
Do you even know how I feel,
It is going to take an eternity to fully heal.
I use to think that what we had was great,
I was proven wrong just a little too late.
I’ve had everything I can take,
I guess that’s why they call it heartbreak.
