What started out so innocent
Has just become a lie
To cover up the heartache in my heart
I remember it used to be so true and real
When you were near me
My heart used to pund so fast
Not anymore
Now it just breaks even more
When you hold me
I would look in my eyes and know i was safe with you
I felt like i could fly
Know when you hold me it hurts to look
Im afraid to show you
How i truly feel inside
And the pain you've caused to my heart
The Heartache of my Heart
Through all of the days and nights
Were on and off
It just seems to hurt even more
When were together
Is when it hurts the most
When im without you
I'd rather be in your arms
Hoping you'll see the pain in my eyes
I dont know why i choose to stay
Why i cant leave you for good
Why my heart still belongs to you
After all you've put me through
Even when you leave me
But after a while you decide you want me back
I still take you back
Knowing you'll hurt me once more
I dont know why I choose
To let me heart feel this pain
When I have so much pain locked up inside
I find myself crying
Crying my way to sleep
Wondering why I let my heart hurt this much
