I suspend emotions through adjustment:
Noisy thoughts enveloped in present sight,
And I dream my being in contentment
Till I fill my whole heart with sunshine bright!
Ah! But this Heart of mine has eyes for Truth:
To heal its wounds with uncertain promise?
No! —I cannot blind it, neither delude!
Though I repose thoughts, it bleeds in darkness;
At doors long—long now closed, it lingers still,
Pulsing for a love in time forgotten,
Trembles and reminisces on a dream
Of a love eternally unaltered:
One day, its light will break obscurity,
And manifest love—in reality.

I hope its light will brake obscurity And manifest the love into reality......may your hope come to pass. Beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing.
