Heart's Desire Poem by Pat Raia

Heart's Desire

Rating: 4.8

I
always wanted
to live
like that:
jetting off
to Gstaad
or to
some
Venetian ball
I'd wear
beautiful
clothes
have
beautiful
dogs
and wear
eyeshadow
picked
for me
by some
Paris designer
I'd
go away
to
luxury hotels
with men
who wore
turtle necks
and
tweed
and
we'd
make love
and have
breakfast
in bed
just like
lovers
in some
1963 movie

This is so lovely...A film comes in my mind while reading your poem: Breakfast at Tiffany's! I like the flow of this poem!

The life of the rich and famous is no doubt the life many of us would love to live. Good work.
