Heart Of A Woman Poem by BiggRich Shuping

Heart Of A Woman

Look a woman in the eye
And marvel at the durability of her soul
That outshines stars of the night
Though covered with rust
From her appalling past
Beat for her audacious heart
A drum of rhythm
And watch as it stoically dance
For it knows endurance

Sing a song of clemency
For this almost bleak heart
That toys with thoughts of revenge
For it bore witness
To austere suffering
But dance, dance with this forgiving
Heart of a woman
And perceive its lament
For its persecutor

Walk a mile with a capable mind
Of a woman
Through its journey of retrospect
And see how pacific thoughts
Reign supreme over those of malevolence
Talk to her and heed
The wonders of her heart's benevolence

She cries when happy
And wail when sad
But facial expressions seldom lie
Her pacifying beauty
Command respect of giants
When she walks across with silent steps
Fragile she may be
But this woman conquered years of anguish
Yet she smiles like yesterday never came to be

Tears left indelible marks on her face
They stand out as a symbol of weakness
To a scornful eye of a passer-by
But this woman is stronger
Than fierce giants and war heroes
For an emotional wound
Takes longer to heal
Than a blood-dripping cut
On the flesh of a fearless warrior

So sing, sing and dance
To the rhythmic beat of a burdened
Yet buoyant heart of this woman
Sing and dance with her
You might learn the mysterious ways of her heart
Ask of her and listen to what she has to say
Her answer might just liberate you
