Hear It Again Poem by Marc O'Maolain

Hear It Again

Another sad song from the lugubrious phase of my life...gotta write these down while I remember them, since I rarely play them anymore

Key of D

Tell me please, yeah tell me true
Tell me now, come on tell me, do
I just gotta hear it again from you

They tell me that you don't love me
Tell that you'd rather be
Anywhere but here right next to me

And when I call you on the phone
You know they tell me you're not home
even if it's the middle of the night

(Chorus)
Say you don't love me anymore
Say you don't need me like I do
Say you don't need me in your arms
I just wanna hear it straight from you

Oh they're full of sh*t
It can't be true
The fire is out that burned so true
(Blah, blah forgot that poignant line)

So say it loud and say it clear
Say it, babe, I just wanna hear
I just wanna hear it again from you

Say you don't love me anymore
Say you don't need me like you do
Say I can't have you in my arms
I just gotta hear it again from you
