It is not easy to let go,
It is not easy to live with,
It is not easy to accept it,
It is not easy to debate;
Yet,
It is easy to begin small,
It is easy to start a day,
It is easy to slightly shift focus,
It is easy to take a step away.

With time, we fathom
With time, we forgive
With time, we heal
With time, we forget

Taking one step at a time,
Taking one day to begin,
Taking life as it comes,
We mend ourselves, come what may.
