Headache Poem by Miranda Van Yperen

Headache

Rating: 1.5

I can feel it
The throb the pain

It makes me dizzy
It's hard to see

The maddening torture
That strikes my brain

It leaves my clueless
My head starts to swim

My mind goes blank
As my mind sank

The room tilts sideways
The lights go dim

I come around
When the headache is gone

I’ve forgotten the sting
The dreamlike aching

I'm glad that it's over
I lie down with a yawn
