He Who Challenges, Suffers, To Suffer Propense. Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

He Who Challenges, Suffers, To Suffer Propense.

He who challenges, suffers, to suffer propense.

If you will to suffer
Care not for the Pain
Against Injustices Rebel…

Look to the Heavens,
But need not ask consent.

Ask Giordano Bruno…
Ask Hus

Savonarola
And others

And others

Oft the malicious Oblivion these Heroes claims
These Martyrs
Adding more injustice to injustice

See they brought me down from the Heights
We labored decades to scale.

Mother raise your Voice to the Heavens Immense
For I see them silent.
