Looking to the heavens
On this dark bleak day
Searching for the words
That you want to say

You're not sure where to begin
You don't know how to start
Then you look deep inside
The words are in your heart

You love the life you're living
You don't want to see it end
You're looking to the heavens
Hoping to find a friend

Then to your great surprise
You see a light from above
Your prayers have been answered
You're heart is overwhelmed with love

You see, in your moment of need
He'll be there for you to
To Him if you are faithful
He'll always protect you
