He Hasn'T Forgotten Poem by Tibby Dames

He Hasn'T Forgotten

She sits alone in a seat
There’s no one there around her
A young man, clothed in white
Sits by her and helps her

She looks up to the ceiling
Tears down her face
She wonders why she came here
Why she’s in this place

She never comes here alone
Always with her family
She never comes just to talk
Just to be with him

But this is her worst problem
Yet she has to face
She never needed his help this much
It’s too much for her to take

Her family seems to hate her
Her friends just don’t care
It seems like he has forgotten her
Only he knows that she’s right here

She doesn’t realize he’s sitting beside her
She doesn’t care he’s there
She just keeps pushing farther away
What she thinks or cares

He helps her up every time she falls
He tries to help her see
He tries to explain his way of life
If only she could see

She blames everything on him
It’s always all his fault
But he’s always there to comfort
He’s always there to help

She turns to him and sighs
Lets him wrap an arm around her
Whispering her problems in his ear
And praying her guardian angel can help her
