He Can'T Sleep Without Me Tonight Poem by marcia morris

He Can'T Sleep Without Me Tonight

Rating: 5.0

Lord let me lie here with my lover
Right here on his chest,
let me take my last breath.
though we vowed till death do us part
I can't let go.
I refuse his departure!
He cant sleep without me tonight
From his rib I was formed;
to that rib I will linger.
He can't sleep without me tonight.
I must taste his pain
I must share his fear
Lord please take me there

The day he took my hand we became a twin
I loved him then and - now.
He is my husband,
my lover and best friend
Lord
where ever you take him tonight
take me there, take me please
For he can't sleep without me tonight
