Have You Seen Her Poem by Brijaal Dana

Have You Seen Her

Twas like the wind beneath the wings of a butterfly floating in the sky,
Something so precious and elegant that could lend a tear to your eye,

It is the motion of not only the body, but the spirit and soul in which is captivated,
Just as if the most beautiful of all flowers to exist, would have to be cultivated,

I know there can not be another quite like this in this world or even another galaxy,
And if one was to tell me differently, it would be understood to be only a fallacy,

The elegance that she possesses is so unique and is like none other,
Like the first eye to eye contact with a newborn and its’ mother,

And this is just the way she carries herself and she doesn’t even know,
Not even aware that all around her, from deep within, is an eminent glow,

I pray and only hope there is a God that will hear my request for true love,
As my Faith tells me, my Angels may have sent her to me, from Above,

It’s like when I see a beautiful sunset, and focus on that purplish-pink hue,
The extraordinary beauty of nature itself, is what makes me think – you.

Described herein, touches only in which the way she moves, hard to explain,
To paint her true beauty using words, even the most powerful, would make her sound plain.
