have you ever?

Have you ever had ur heart broken
in a thousand pieces just from someone
walking out of your life

it happened so fast
i never saw it coming
im breaking apart
without you there in my life

have you ever had ur heart broken
in a thousand pieces just from
someone walking out of ur life

im crumbling fast
bringing up the walls
i let down since you came into my life
are back up so i dont fall again

have you ever had your heart broken
in a thousand pieces just from
someone walking out of ur life

i cant take this pain
its killing me on the inside
to know that you arent with me
that i lost you because of something i did

have you ever had your heart broken
in a thousand pieces just from
someone walking out of your life

have you ever?
have you ever?
loved someone so much
that you just cant imagine life without them

have you ever, ever
wanted someone so bad
that you would go through the edge of the earth
just to be with them

have you ever had your heart broken
by someone you thought would never
let you go, never thought you would let me go

please tell me its not true
please tell me you didnt let me go
i cant do this without you
i cant let her go without your help
but i cant...i just cant...let you go...

Poem of the Day

poet Katharine Lee Bates

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
