Hatred Of Yourself Poem by Alison Xenos

Hatred Of Yourself

Rating: 5.0

You use technology as your message
Distance for your gain
Your pocketbook is bleeding
While your family is in pain
You are your job
Suit up and accept your role
Travel is your only vacation
You send money to ease guilt
Presents so they know you are still alive
Alone you are
Hotel rooms, and hotel bars
What does home feel like?
You do not remember.
