Has God promised me
I will live forever?
And that those I love
Will live forever?
He has promised
That the Jewish people
Will not die-
But so much has died
Over such a long time
And often in catastrophic ways
I pray that Humanity will not die
I pray that the Jewish people will not die
I hope I pray for many people I know
Not to disappear forever
I pray
