Harem Lady Poem by shima shahsavaran ahmadi

Harem Lady

I am a harem lady, I have died many centuries ago.
My daughters are your bondmaids. I am a deceived mother.
Kingdom by kingdom laugh. Get drunk, and laugh louder.
Become a scourge, and kiss me. I inherited the pain.
The war is a bitter taste of the life. Woman is the constant booty.
I counted you, shirt by shirt, button by button.
Be man, and give my night's share more cruelly.
You have given pain to me. I have given cruelty to you.
Stay, biography by biography. You haven't died. Breathe…
I am a harem lady, I have died many centuries ago.
