Having to love the fault
Is like living in a vault
Like being chased by a guilt
And filled to brim with filth

Tongues tied by words of comfort
All seems like a false report
The theme of the fib you hear
Is great but you must bear

Nemo dat quod non habet
But you boast and make your bet
It’s hard indeed to love and give
Let’s see you go on and forgive

Indeed it’s hard to love
When all ugly pasts the two must shove
And on fresh leaves begin afresh
To make life’s breath for them so fresh
