Happy New Mexicans Or Not In Indiana Poem by Glen Kappy

Our barrels filled with last night's rain
the puddles and the concrete stain
the hiding of the daytime lamp
the feeling of the cool and damp—
because they are not usual
is why we can be grateful.

Happy indeed! You sound just about excited as the Amwricans watching the soar eclipse...

Hey, Laurie! Grateful for the rain and for seeing some of the eclipse. - The clouds and sun were playing peekaboo. -Glen
