Hoisting the tricolour atop our homes,
As a first step, let us salute all those great
People who had sacrificed their lives for the
Prolonged freedom struggle, which made the
Year 1947 witness the fall of The British Raj!

India now moves fast with high tech aspects
Nurturing multiple talents, scientific missions etc with
Democracy and Secularism being her quintessence;
Eventful years of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav proudly
Present the 75th year of Indian Independence,
Enriching India's many cultural programmes from
Northern, southern, eastern, and western states with
Different representations of music, art performers and
Eminent writers and of regional festivals under one flag;
Nation is embellished with our prestigious national flags,
Children sing the national anthem with great feel,
Echoing the rhythm of patriotism well.

Day of seventy-sixth independence make us remember
Also to uphold the soul of India: 'Unity in Diversity'
Yes, let's stand together to sing: ‘Saare Jahan se Achchaa….'
