Happy Birthday Bill
This is for a guy I know
This poem is written just for show
I see you every day at our senior site
You and your mother make my day bright
We've had a lot of laughs through these years
But that's better than a lot of tears
We don't like the same kind of music but that's okay
You have your opera and I like country
Another year has passed
Another birthday came around
You will always be a little older
And I think a little bolder
Have a very happy birthday
That's really what I wanted to say
And be my friend another day
