Happy Birthday Poem by Liz Eckel

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday,
Today’s your day.

Today we shall praise and sing,
And all the gifts we will bring.

To think fifth-teen years ago,
you had seen the world for the very first time.

This world was so new so many things unknown,
And now you figured out many things so much you had grown.

If you weren’t born who would know where I’d be,
I might’ve given up to spread my wings and be free.

You see without you life would be amiss,
Because you’re an important part of this world so much we would miss.

Today’s your birthday, they sing and praise,
So go out into the world, change it, and so many you’ll amaze.
