Happiness And Sorrow Poem by Muhammad Umair

Happiness And Sorrow

It was dark like your hairs,
Sea was there without any layers;
Moon was there with the stars,
I was there with all my scars.

Emptiness that all I could find
People, they didn't really mind;
Hugs and kisses were exchanged
My solitude couldn't be ranged.

Promises were made on the bank
In that very sea they all sank;
Everywhere they were lying
I could literally see them dying.
