Hallow Poem by Nathan Mendell

Hallow

I am told to hold on, to never give Up
To be full of strength, and not go Irate
My mind is clouded, I can’t think Straight
I hope for the best, and pray this is a Test
Sadly I cannot, fill this hole in my Chest
So I continue to live with this feeling Inside
Knowing one day, I’ll wash away with the Tide
Is this feeling anger or sorrow? What of this tear?
This feeling is Hallow, both sadness and Fear…
