Sometimes I just wanna hear
the rain,
Falling down to drown-out all
your pain.
Flowing us out in circles
that spin,
Easing you down and rushing
me in.

Fills then floods with steep
desire,
Longs to top but yet can't
acquire.
Funny how rain won't ever
rinse free,
Feelings filling but....
incompletely.

How I've tried to convey
my words,
Still your silence is all
I've heard.
And my heart can't beat
with yours,
As you've slowly sealed
all doors.

How does it feel to feel
that way,
Your halfhearted beats
randomly play.
Skipping out on life
and love,
Tripped up on pain's past
push and shove.
