Like a dawn without a day
your sunshine shows, but fails to stay,
Just a splinter of what was
all hope is faint as distant stars.

Do you feel the twist inside
knowing half of us just died?
Fades your fever, but burns my soul
a callous heart keeps beating cold.

Like a stream without a way
flowing blind and lead astray,
And yes once, I thought you changed
all for not and just the same.
