Half Alive Poem by Colton Foltz

Half Alive

Half alive inside
because I've lived this life
full of little lies.
You have my heart & soul
packed into a box, just gathering dust
while you watch it rust.
Hide the truth
and forget your feelings.
This life, is no longer
worth living.

Stole my heart
and killed these lungs.
Forgotten so cold
just lost in this world.
Gashping for breathe
this is all, he has left.
Reaching for the sky
knowing he was only half a lie.
